About the Opportunity Reporting into the Chief Information Officer, this role will provide you with the opportunity to lead the strategic direction of both Operations and Development deliverables and continue the transformational journey towards a more modern IT operation. Drawing upon your significant experience with cloud transitions, your knowledge will require you to influence and drive cross-functional teams to understand the benefits of a converged infrastructure and foster collaboration between the development and operations teams in an agile environment in order to improve service outcomes and achieve operational maturity. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the operation of application and infrastructure platforms; Developing and delivering platform optimisation opportunities to minimise cost and improve performance; Ensure 24x7x365 operational integrity, performance and stability of IT infrastructure and application environments in-line with agreed service levels; Providing leadership, direction, development and support to your direct reports; Shaping, influencing and driving collaboration between all teams within IT; Developing and maintaining effective relationships with external suppliers, customers and colleagues; and Providing executive advice to CEO and Board level.

The ideal candidate will bring: Ideally you will have previous experience in driving a similar transformation whereby you have utilised your commercial acumen, strong leadership, decision making and influencing skills to transition traditional IT teams into a mature hybrid cloud model. You will have taken teams on this journey and understand what it takes and how to drive and increase operational maturity during a transition to the cloud. Experience Required 10 years experience in an IT environment with at least 5 years' experience as a leader managing multiple, large cross-functional teams; Proven experience of leading teams through a transformation from traditional IT environment to a modern dev/ops cloud model; Strong stakeholder and relationship management experience; Demonstrated experience leading an IT transformation, delivering improved service outcomes and enhancing the performance and stability of IT environments; You will have experience implementing ITIL processes; and Experience working with agile.
