One of our premium government client based in Canberra is looking for a highly experienced and committed Senior Network Engineer The Role The Senior Network Engineer is accountable for the provision of business and ICT knowledge to provide specialist design consultancy services for emerging technologies and solutions within the areas focused on ICT Professional Services & Technical Consulting working collaboratively with Sales, OB Technology & the COE's on new acquisitions, as well as with Client Delivery within Integrated Client Services business unit on BAU opportunities (incremental) across all technology domains. Skills and experience required: Switching protocols Cisco switching configuration VLAN/STP/LACP/Port-Security Routing protocols Cisco routing configuration EIGRP/OSPF/BGP HSRP Quality of Service (QoS) Specifically, any skills in applying QoS policies in satellite or variable WAN environments DMVPN GRE and IPSEC configuration High available and failover design Firewalls Cisco ASA configuration WAN Optimisation Riverbed Optimiser configuration IP subnetting and address management Microsoft Visio Network diagrams Network monitoring Solarwinds NPM/NCM/NTA Scrutiniser Netflow PRTG How to apply Due to new privacy laws regarding the collection and handling of personal information, all applications must be submitted online.
