WORKSHOP PLANT MECHANIC
Our client is seeking Plant Mechanics to carry out maintenance, repairs, services and breakdowns of heavy mining and excavation machinery, workshop locations are within NSW regional and rural areas. We are looking for trustworthy, independent and self motivated people, who take pride in their work, who have the technical know-how to assess machines quickly and efficiently. Must have the ability to investigate and problem solve a wide range of issues Have an understanding of the importance of delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service The ability to work autonomously within a busy workshop, with exceptional time management and organisational skills.
Ability to complete and compile written reports by using computer programs (Internal) You will be using sophisticated diagnostic and state of the art equipment, working 12 hour shifts with roster systems that vary from site to site. Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role Diesel mechanic/Plant Mechanical trade qualification 5 years post trade Heavy mining and mobile plant machinery experience Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication Excellent diagnostic and repair skills Strong job planning skills Own tools of the trade-specialised tools supplied Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment Attractive salary and incentives on offer as well as relocation assistance to help settle into your new environment.
