Working in IM FNQ provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to work high performing staff and students in IM curriculum, ensembles and at showcase events. FNQ's reputation for producing the highest quality musicians is supported by repeated successes at Creative Generations Instrumental and Choral Fanfares at Primary and Secondary levels. The successful candidate will have a responsibility for but not limited to: support of expanding programs establishing new programs using a range of delivery modes to meet the needs of regional and remote schools and supporting schools through the purchase of instruments The successful candidate will work in a highly supportive team of IM teachers work in the region supported by a working party with Principal representatives from Primary and Secondary which reports to the regions Education Advisory Group.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to coach, mentor and lead curriculum development in IM. A mandatory requirement of this role is: Current full registration, or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
