An exciting opportunity exists for a hands-on and versatile, customer focused IT Technician to join our IT Team at Rottnest Express. This role will be the first line of support for information technology solutions and is responsible for ensuring effective problem resolution and management of incidents across a range of technologies. This role is predominantly office-based at Fremantle.
However, frequent travel might be required between various Perth Metropolitan locations. Some reasonable out of hours work will be necessary. The role is a 3 month fixed-term contract.
A negotiated start date is available for either December or January. Requirements Your tasks will include, but not be limited to; hardware support for computers, phones and other devices; application support, end user support as well as providing excellent troubleshooting and fault diagnostics. Your success will be achieved through a willingness to provide solutions across a range of areas, whilst displaying excellent customer service.
You'll have experience in implementing and supporting a range of information technology solutions as well as end user support and IT hardware experience. A Tertiary qualification in an Information Technology related discipline will be advantageous. A current Australian Driver's License and access to your own transport will be required.
