Growing demand for our services throughout Newcastle and Northern NSW has created a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer, with power delivery, industrial and commercial experience, to join our team of dedicated professionals who are focused on delivering exceptional outcomes Our team is primarily responsible for the provision of design and design management services required to support the planning, scoping, estimating and delivery of a wide range of projects. The Role - Electrical Engineer - Newcastle Utilise your proven knowledge of relevant electrical engineering principles to demonstrate your advanced skills in the following areas: Delivering complex electrical designs on key commercial building and industrial projects, particularly in power delivery, distribution on-site generation and storage Development from concept to detailed design, including modelling and design drawings Assist in the selection, specification and modification of new and existing power systems and electrical installations Provide engineering and technical advice to both internal and external clients Achieve positive outcomes to time, quality and budget requirements You'll have strong communication skills to actively coordinate and contribute as part of the team Mentor and guide multi-discipline peers and junior engineers and drafters Preparing and reviewing fee proposals, working with others to ensure project achievements are met and all design work are completed, driving the delivery of electrical and multi-discipline projects, supporting other project managers and directors to control risk, project delivery, HSEC expectations and quality. About You.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a goal to progress your career in a technically driven multi-disciplinary setting, and possess: Relevant Diploma or Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineer engineering 5 years experience in consultancy electrical design or the power industry Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, lead or work within a multi-disciplinary design team, and mentor junior team members A keen eye for detail and ability to focus on quality and performance Ability to build, develop and drive proposals for new work opportunities Exceptional verbal communication and technical report writing skills The ability to lead a design team, coach junior engineers and design team members HV and LV power delivery and electrical installation design for commercial, residential, industrial and public infrastructure.
