The Regional & Outer Metropolitan (ROM) Division is a newly formed Division that integrates all regional transport responsibilities under one leadership banner. ROM will engage with customers and communities to deliver safe and tailored transport choices that connect regional NSW and contribute to strong economic growth and sustainability. The opportunity Right now, we have an opportunity for an experienced contract management professional to join us in the Rural & Regional Service Delivery section to contribute to the overall customer experience by managing rural and regional and outer metropolitan activities relating to public transport procurement, contract development & management.
What you will be involved in Motivate, encourage and inspire the development of a strong, effective and professional team Maintain excellent working relationships with multiple contracted service providers without compromising the integrity of contract management requirements Manage the Unit's contribution to business plans consistent with overall Division and Corporate Plans and improve business systems and processes Support in the negotiation and agreement of commercial matters including new contracts and contract variations to ensure that contracts are consistent with government priorities and Transport for NSW strategic directions Travel to regional centres to evaluate service delivery performance, conduct governance meetings and facilitate seminars for Rural and Regional service delivery partners. About you Your extensive experience in business and contract management has prepared you to step into this challenging role. You will be commercially savvy and possess a strategic solutions mindset.
