The role A role has become available for a lawyer with a Senior Lawyer/Senior Associate with at least 6 years post admission experience in the area of family law. This is very much a 'hands on' role and my client is looking for some-one who has had experience in a broad range of family law matters such as parenting, property, de facto and same sex relationships, spouse maintenance and child support applications, property settlements.
You will be able to hit the ground running, take initial instructions, appear in court on mentions and directions hearing. You will also take part in business development and marketing initiatives as well as supervising more junior members of the team. Skills & Experience In order to be suitable for this role you will have: at least 6 years post admission experience in the area of family law; experience in transactional work and general advisory work; the ability to adapt and be flexible; the ability to work autonomously; the ability and desire to manage clients; first class technical skills and commercial nous; drive, ambition, energy; ability to work in a team environment; ability to mentor and supervise junior lawyers Benefits & Culture On offer is a competitive salary.
