Senior Manager Train Service Delivery Operations



Responsibilities of the role: Participate as a member of the TSD leadership team to provide senior leadership of key operational issues in a dynamic and changing rail infrastructure environment through effective strategy formulation, customer, business partner and stakeholder engagement and people leadership. Lead the development, implementation and review of strategies relevant to Train Service Delivery Operations to improve operational performance, reliability, productivity and reduce delivery costs, ensuring that all relevant regulatory, contractual and safety obligations are met. Develop and lead change management strategies that will drive cultural change and result in improvements in Train Service Delivery business outcomes including performance, safety, employee engagement and customer service.

Proactively lead the business unit creating a performance culture that reflects a high level of team work and collaboration and builds capability and accountability across TSD Operations. Lead the assessment and analysis of key performance and capacity exposures and provide expert advice on the effectiveness of associated management activities. Build and maintain strong high level partnerships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, consultation and negotiation to ensure effective business outcomes for Train Service Delivery are achieved.

Oversee the management of the Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental systems, policies and procedures including all relevant aspects of the Safety Management System within Traincrew Services promoting a safety culture.
