The Zig Zag Motel's Switchback Restaurant is looking for an experienced Chef to join the team. Our qualified chef must be passionate about the food and beverage industry and looking to sustain long-term employment. Chef Responsibilities: Work a rotating Monday – Saturday roster, mostly afternoon/evening shifts Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, effectively and professionally Must show confidence to help manage a busy kitchen Display good communication skills in a busy, fast paced environment Have a strong focus on health and safety Fill in for the head chef when required Be able to work in a team environment, front and back of house Must be honest, reliable and hard-working Must have a Diploma in a relevant discipline, plus two year post-qualification relevant full-time experience, or at least 3 years relevant full-time experience Salary range - $55,000 to $60,000 If you have the above skills and would like to be a part of a great team, send your application through, by clicking "apply", alternatively you can drop your Resume into the Zig Zag Motel reception.
