Sitecore Senior Developer



We have a rare opportunity for a Senior Sitecore Developer to join a corporate in the education space with plenty of BAU and Project work on to keep you busy. As our Senior Sitecore Developer… You will be responsible for analysis, coding, testing and implementation activities. You will work within cross-functional Agile teams on projects and extensional initiatives to deliver high quality applications built using .

NET, Sitecore, JavaScript, HMTL and CSS as well as utilising Azure cloud services. Your core responsibilities will include: Provide Sitecore/.Net technical expertise.

Develop high quality code that leverage existing code libraries, patterns and architectural techniques where they exist. Look for opportunities to extend and improve existing code libraries, patterns and architectural technique. Develop functional and appealing web applications based on usability and build reusable code and libraries for future use.

Undertake design and development activities including coding, testing, deployment scripting and configuration areas in .NET domains and other related technologies. Are responsible for staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and promoting usability best practices.

Experience required: To be awesome in this role you must have (mandatory experience): Software Engineering or Computer Science tertiary qualifications At least 5 years of Sitecore development experience Any Leadership/architecture experience. Experience on Sitecore version 9.1 and 8.

2 Commercial experience in developing web applications using the .NET frameworks Extensive experience in developing with C#, ASP.NET MVC and Web API 2 Have demonstrable expert competence level in using development and automated testing tools in the Sitecore / .

NET domain A proficient understanding of client-side scripting, JavaScript libraries and web frameworks including jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS Experience with SQL databases (preference MS SQL) Understanding and experience in unit testing and mocking technologies, such as xUnit and Moq. Exposure to the Cloud Hosting platforms.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN / TFS. A tertiary qualification in IT or an equivalent level of work experience. Self-motivated, problem-crushing attitude You’re a team player and you just want to build solutions that work.
