General Maintenance / Repairs Person

Fab Floors Pty Ltd is a Commercial Flooring company based in Riverwood NSW specialising in removal of existing floorcoverings, diamond floor grinding, floor preparation & levelling, installation of commercial vinyl tiles, sheet, LVT’s, planks, carpet tiles & expansion joints. Fab Floors use a variety of machines to complete our work including converted gas Kanga Take Up Machines, Satellite Grinders, King Grinders, Polyvac’s, Dust Extraction Units, Vacuums, Hippo Mixing Systems, etc. Must be mechanically minded & good with tools.

The position involves: - Maintenance repairs to machines/tools including welding, replacing parts, filters, etc & sourcing repairers & parts when required (all electrical work will be carried out by our electrician contractor when required). Testing of Machines / Tools to ensure in good working order (we will put you through any relevant training/courses required). When required - Site visits to inspect/repair machines - if required bring back to warehouse.

Liaise with contractors & employees regarding machine/tool issues. Documenting all maintenance carried out on Computer & maintaining paperwork. General maintenance to property/office.

This is a full-time permanent position Monday to Friday. Required: - Manual Drivers Licence. Permanent Resident of Australia.
