As part of Toll Group's new growth strategy, a position has become available for a Business Development Manager, you be responsible for the identification and development of market segments, achievement of agreed revenue budgets and to ensure smooth handover of account management responsibilities to the account management team. The role will also ensure all business development opportunities are maximized and that Toll is recognized as the preferred partner in all segments within the business delivery capability.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Identifying new sales opportunities and nurturing prospective clients through the sales process from suspect, prospect sale and post-sale Ensure systems are used and people trained to achieve the highest standards of customer service, reliability, efficiency and sustainability in safety and environmental performance Take responsibility for the performance of an overall sales or business development process or for a significant set of customers Influence customer attitudes and mindsets to create and capture opportunities for broader business relationships with Toll Read customer situations accurately and anticipate their business needs The ideal candidate? You will have demonstrated experience in new business development, client relationship and/or account management. A background in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or industrial environments would be highly regarded. You will possess superior negotiation and influencing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong stakeholder management focus.
