2x Temporary full-time appointment from 28 January 2020 to 26 January 2023 Location: Parramatta We are advertising two Policy Coordinator roles in the Office of Deputy Secretary, Educational Services About the team The Office of the Deputy Secretary, Educational Services (ODSES) is a small, friendly and dynamic team providing professional support to the Deputy Secretary, including coordinating and developing policy advice, overseeing the delivery of key projects and programs, and timely management of correspondence, briefings and external reporting. The ODSES is led by the Director Educational Services Systems Reform. About the role The Policy Coordinator Teaching and Policy Coordinator Wellbeing provides high quality professional, organisational and policy support to the Deputy Secretary, Educational Services Division.
The two roles work closely together as part of the Executive Support function in the Office of the Deputy Secretary, liaising with directorates and business units to progress key work. Each role has a primary focus on one of two areas: Policy Coordinator Teaching leads on advice and issues relating to curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, teaching quality and accreditation P olicy Coordinator Wellbein g leads on advice and issues relating to student wellbeing and engagement, additional learning needs, and child protection P lease identify in your application if you have a preference for one area of focus or the other.
