LORD HOWE ISLAND BOARD The Lord Howe Island Board is a statutory authority established under the provisions of the Lord Howe Island Act, 1953. The Board is responsible to the NSW Minister for the Environment and comprises four Islanders elected by the local community and three members appointed by the Minister. It is charged with the care, control and management of the Island and the affairs and trade of the Island.
The Lord Howe Island Board is part of the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment cluster, who helps to provide homes and services, build great communities, create jobs and protect the environment. The Office of Environment, Energy and Science works with community, business and government to protect and strengthen the natural environment by managing the conservation of our environment and energy resources. The Office also has oversight of the Lord Howe Island Board administration.
Role: FIELD SUPERVISOR Classification: LHI Officer Grade 4 Salary Package: $84,301 - includes salary ($70,788-$76,988) and employer contributions to superannuation scheme. Plan and undertake works to maintain and upgrade Lord Howe Island Board assets, facilities and services. Supervise the work of field staff and contractors, ensuring that the work is undertaken efficiently, within budgets and timeframes to assist in the delivery of Board programs, plans, initiatives and responsibilities.
