Senior Project Scheduler

Queensland Rail is excited to offer multiple opportunities for experienced Senior Project Schedulers to join their Major Projects Team to work on the Queensland Governmentâ€™s priority project, Cross River Rail .
This role is based in Brisbane and is to support Project Managers, clients and stakeholders to develop and maintain the time and resource schedules for individual projects and programs of work to enable successful delivery of Cross River Rail. Day to day you will be required to work with stakeholders to monitor, control and report the progress and performance of projects as well as report any risk, cost or resourcing issues. To be successful in this position you will have the following: High level of skill in the planning and scheduling of large multi-disciplinary complex projects in an environment where requirements are conflicting, incomplete or changing.
High level of skill in analysing complex project planning issues and inter-relationships between projects. Extensive level of knowledge in the use of project management scheduling tools in particular Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project and the use of these to manage schedule, cost, resources and risk. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver individual and team tasks. Knowledge of and willingness to commit to and work within Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours. There is an opportunity for both a permanent position as well as a 2 year fixed term position.
