National Service Engineer



Company This globally recognised organisation's headquarters are located in Perth, with around 40 employees they specialise in mobile based solutions for a number of transport, security and insurance companies around the world. Supplying video analytics, audio communication and installation, maintenance and support of CCTV systems, this is a brilliant opportunity to be a part of something great for Australia & around the world. Role You will be a skilled and experienced Service Engineer who will be working with the organisation's Maintenance team and provide engineering support for clients and the Operations Support team members in the field focusing on IT & Networking support.

For this role the organisation is looking for one new Service Engineer in Perth and another Service Engineer to be based in Sydney OR Melbourne. The key tasks include, but are not limited to: Management & troubleshooting of software and hardware solutions. Management & troubleshooting of server/networks/wireless.

Management & troubleshooting of back end software updates and issues. Technical assistance during system installs and maintenance. Generate customer proposals to extend or upgrade existing systems including proposal and estimates.

Provide technical project support to the Project Management team. Use technical experience to support the organisation's projects as required globally. Ad hoc duties as requested by the Service Operations Manager.

About you You will be an excellent multi-tasker, able to prioritise, passionate about your work and able to deliver under pressure. This role requires you to have excellent personal accountability and commitment as well as excellent communication skills. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate: Minimum 5 years' experience of maintenance/ repair and small projects for technology based systems.

Qualification in engineering degree or technical qualification in software/ hardware environments. Experience solving software/hardware issues with live customer systems. Experience with network based systems including LAN/wireless and 3G/4G.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues. Exceptional written English and able to write customer reports & proposals. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.

Problem-solving and communication skills and able provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal. Proven experience in customer relationship management.
