Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer

As a Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in this strategic imperative by primarily coordinating the day to day management of the Data Centre, prevention and mitigation of technology disruptions through the efficient and effective maintenance and operation of the company's Data Centre assets.
You will also be hands on in installation of Cabling and Patching (Copper, Fibre) and troubleshooting. We are a dedicated operation across 3 Data Centres in Eastern Creek, Norwest and Alexandria. This integral role is part of an established team of professionals who are specialists that are dedicated to achieving solution focussed outcomes for the business.

To be successful in this role, you have a strong track record working in large scale complex Data Centre environments with proven experience in cabling and installations.
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills combined with the ability to work autonomously is essential. You will have also worked directly with Project Managers and Partners to provide Cabling, Network Design and Power installation activities. You will be required to provide after hours Data Centre support on a rotating rostered basis.
Any exposure or knowledge of Linux Administration or Windows Administration support would be highly regarded.
