Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals with relevant tertiary qualification for the role of Coordinator Project Delivery. Reporting to the Manager Technical Services, your duties will include, but not be limited to: Provide assistance and advice on technical aspects of project designs, specifications, and contract documentation for projects. Develop specifications and quotation / tender documents for allocated projects.
Communicate with all internal and external stakeholders both verbally and written. Prepare preliminary budgets and pre-construction estimates for projects. Co-ordinate the preparation of works as executed drawings and operations and maintenance manuals at the completion of projects.
Arrange handover meetings with Council's Operations staff. Build and maintain a high performance team within the project management team with an understanding of their accountabilities. This opportunity would ideally suit someone with a background in Construction Project Management as well as excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
To be considered you will require a Degree in Civil Engineering or a related tertiary qualification with extensive experience in construction project management/contract management. A Current Class C driver's licence is essential. This position is 35 hours per week with access to flexi time.
