ABOUT THE ROLE: Casual positions available to work across our two Aged Care Home's - Mercy Place Corben (Mentone) and Mercy Place Mordialloc (Mentone) Promote emotional and physical rehabilitation through engaging residents in recreational activities of their choice that promote holistic wellbeing Create, facilitate and evaluate individual and group lifestyle programs to ensure that our residents have the best day possible each and every day. Work in consultation with the wider care team to provide relevant and timely information for the care planning process You will be supported and guided by the Lifestyle Coordinator. ABOUT YOU: Completed or currently enrolled in Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Leisure (Diversional Therapy), or similar Previous experience in a lifestyle role in an aged care environment Highly motivated and engaging personality with a desire to teach and make a difference within the home Demonstrated time management and an excellent relationship-builder Previous experience delivering recreational activities and the ability to work within a team environment ABOUT US: Mercy Health is a Catholic organisation grounded in a 2,000-year tradition of caring for others.
