Senior Dialysis Technician

What you'll be doing Provide a 24 hour / 7 day "on call" service for breakdowns for home dialysis patients throughout Sydney and New South Wales and for various hospital dialysis facilities. The Technical Department at Sydney Dialysis Centre is a state wide service providing technical support, service and repair to home dialysis and hospital equipment, primarily haemodialysis machines and reverse osmosis units.
The Senior Electronics Technician is expected to provide leadership and guidance to the team of Dialysis Technicians employed by the service. Approximately 25% of the work will focus on management and administrative duties. A high level customer service to patients, staff and other service providers is expected.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Electrical Trades Certificate Industrial Electronics Certificate of the Department of Technical and Further Education or such other qualifications or course of training/ experience deemed appropriate.
Demonstrated experience in management of staff, both professional development and allocation of workload. Demonstrated experience and ability to initiate and achieve effective change including development of work guidelines and procedures. Experience in managing service delivery, working to deadlines and budget allocations.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service and management of company relationships. Experience with various computer systems including service software programs. Experience with maintaining a work environment that meets work health and safety standards.
