) The Company… The company is a premier destination and specialist in providing hire solutions for access equipment, based in South Western Sydney. Being renowned within the industry for their reliability and dedication of service, they have increased their market share and are now seeking to employ a Financial Controller that will manage and report on all facets of the financial performance of the group.

The Position… The position is responsible for effectively monitoring and overseeing the company’s financial department, including a business analyst and an accountants payable/receivable clerk. Having experience in managing staff in creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts is required. You will also need to oversee cash flow forecasts, profit and loss projections, budget v actual reporting and compliance reports.

Co-ordination with external accountants is essential. Further responsibilities include: · Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing. · Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.

· Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations. · Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data available. · Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for any cost reduction opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate… The ideal candidate will have hold bachelor’s degree or similar in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field, along with several years of experience in a business or finance environment as a Financial Controller, along with honesty, integrity and reliability in general workplace practises and procedures. Furthermore: · Management, leadership skills and interpersonal skills. · Outstanding mathematical ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Solid written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and organisational skills.
