Health and Disability Services Complaints Office Manager Complaints Level 7, PSGO CSA GA, $117,725 - $126,033 per annum Position No: P00009612 Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time Location: Perth Closing Date: 2019-11-18 4:00 PM (YYYY-MM-DD) This position is offered as a 12 month contract/secondment opportunity with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. This position is temporarily vacant whilst the substantive occupant is engaged in other duties. Interviews for this vacancy are scheduled to be conducted in the week commencing 25 November 2019.

Eligibility and Other Conditions : To be eligible for appointment applicants must have a working visa (for fixed term contract appointment) or permanent residency (for permanent appointment).

Appointment to any position in HaDSCO is subject to the successful applicant providing a satisfactory National Police Clearance. Should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. This option is valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision .

Position Profile : The Health and Disability Services Complaints Office (HaDSCO) is seeking to appoint an experienced individual with highly developed leadership and management skills to the position of Manager Complaints. As the Manager Complaints you will be responsible for the effective and efficient daily operations of the Health and Disability Services (Complaints) Act 1995 and other relevant legislation. You will manage the complaints management function by ensuring appropriate staffing, work allocation and achievement of required outcomes; developing appropriate strategies, practices and policies to facilitate the achievement of the Office objectives; and establishing a service delivery culture, standards and style that are based upon honouring commitments, fostering team spirit and building relationships .
