About the Role We are currently seeking Qualified Diesel Mechanics to fill a variety of roles with our clients. With multiple opportunities for available this could be your next opportunity. As a Diesel Mechanic working with our clients your role could include: Work within fast paced, high standard environments Perform all tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment, Providing the service, repair and overhaul of mechanical parts such as engines, transmission and suspension systems, Conduct maintenance tasks, including technical inspections and classifications, Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel, petrol and gas-powered vehicles in addition to Diagnose mechanical, electrical and Hydraulic faults on a variety of different Fleets Complete component change out, repair or rebuild as required Complete thorough and responsible servicing Skills and Experience To be successful as a Diesel Mechanic with our clients you need: Recent experience in a similar role Recognised Qualification (Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic or greater) Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (desirable, not essential) Experience to inspect, repair and maintain Light, Medium and/or Heavy vehicle to a suitable level of repair Experience to inspect, repair and maintain plant and/or earth moving equipment High level of physical fitness and strength Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision A strong ‘team player’ with the proven ability to work efficiently with others A positive attitude and a strong commitment safety What’s on Offer If successful in these roles you can expect: Great rates of pay with opportunities for overtime Opportunities for an immediate start Support of leading recruitment consultants to help drive your career Merit based opportunities to move to full-time employment and career progression How to apply If you feel you have the skills, experience and drive to succeed please apply online now by clicking the " Apply Now " link.
