IT Service Delivery Manager
Role Summary: Looking for IT Service Delivery Managers to manage multiple projects belonging to a customer towards achieving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and financial goals. Undertakes the following responsibilities: Manages financial health of the projects including budgeting, billing/invoicing, profitability, EVA, realisation, cost management, etc. Supports the pre-sales and sales team in Business Development within the account.
Governs and drives action planning and closure of customer feedback/comments for all projects in collaboration with the project manager. Interacts with customers to manage expectations, and ensures smooth project execution to achieve high customer satisfaction. Manages new contracts and changes to contracts.
Initiates new projects and approves resources and plans for the new projects. Monitors/Reviews project and deliverable status, scope, cost and schedule and guides the project managers towards meeting the objective. Reviews and approves the project plans and monitors periodically the compliance to the same.
Identifies risks, plans mitigation strategies, and ensures business continuity. Ensures optimal deployment and utilisation of resources. Drives process and performance improvement across the projects.
Ensures compliance to all TCS processes. Implementation of various corporate/unit/branch level initiatives within the account. Identifies & assigns appropriate roles to team members.
Sets reasonable, challenging and clear performance goals for direct reports, monitors performance & provides appropriate feedback. Supports & provides guidance to team to achieve personal, team & professional goals. Tracks competency gaps that exist among team members & ensures that relevant learning/appropriate tasks are assigned for closure of the gaps.
Essential skills: 5 years of experience managing and delivering large scale and complex ICT projects end to end. Experience working as a customer facing vendor project manager - preferably Sound level of scope management, project planning, resource management, risk/issue/dependency management and reporting skills. Ability to motivate and lead medium sized project teams to meet the project and program objectives.
A good team player within a program delivery environment. Proven capability of senior stakeholder management. Highly organised and appropriately active mode approach.
