About the Centre/Service Annie Dennis Childrenâ€™s Centre is a not for profit community based early childhood education and care service providing quality childcare and kindergarten located in the heart of Northcote. Annie Dennis Childrenâ€™s Centre has an excellent reputation and was assessed in 2018 as â€˜Exceeding the National Quality Standardsâ€™. The historic building is surrounded by large outdoor environments that provide ample space for all children to explore and engage within a natural environment.
In the heart of the newly renovated inclusive kindergarten playground is a historic Moreton Bay Fig tree, its magnificent branches span the entire area providing shade and many learning opportunities for the children. Our setting provides children with opportunities to develop through a play based program. We have a strong emphasis on supporting and developing relationships between the child, family, educators and the wider community.
Additional playground works are scheduled in in 2020. The staff team are passionate about education and care of children and seeks a like minded teacher to provide a high quality program for our Multi Age integrated kindergarten group (3-4 year olds). We are a triple unit early childhood education and care service offering integrated kindergarten to our community.
In addition to the multi age 3-4 year old kindergarten program, we have one 4 year old integrated kindergarten program and one 3 year old kindergarten program integrated with long day care, as well long day care for children aged from 6 months of age. Description The successful applicant will be well versed in the Victorian Early years Learning and Development Framework and National Quality Standards to implement a nurturing and innovative play based program to inspire and educate our multi age integrated 3-4 year old kindergarten children. The successful applicant will work alongside a FT diploma qualified educator.
