Parks & Gardens | Council Role
Parks & Gardens workers required for Local Council roles across Perth metro area. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced parks & gardens officers for Local Government crews across the Perth metro area. These casual roles offer a fantastic 'foot in the door' to a local government environment and could potentially turn into a long term opportunity.
You will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of large commercial areas. This role is varied in nature meaning you will be responsible for a number of different duties, including; operating ride on mowers, whipper snipper work, mulching, turf work and other general parks & gardens duties. You must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team where required.
To be successful in this role you must hold the following; Minimum C Class Licence (MR Desirable) Cert III Horticulture (desirable) Traffic Management White Card Chemical Application Licence/Spray Ticket Chainsaw Ticket The successful applicant will have the ability to pass a pre-employment DAS. In return you will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate and consistent work within a local government crew. As with most council roles, there is a 9-day fortnight on offer.
