Leading Oil & Gas company is needing a Subsea Project Engineer for a permanent role. Your new role My client is a leading provider of essential services and technologies to the international Oil and Gas industry with a worldwide reputation for innovative, safe and environmentally-friendly solutions to key exploration and production challenges. The project engineer is an integral member of the operations team.
The position is designed to be a focal point to ensure that subsea and topside projects scopes are specified, manufactured, tested and installed to meet operational objectives, company, national and international standards to ensure it integrate into and work well as an overall system. Your responsibilities Personal compliance with company and client company HSE & Quality policies and procedures Preparation and review of project scope of work, technical specifications, subsea equipment and system design layouts and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable company, national and international standards and industry best practice. Prepare, review and sign off on project documentation including but not limited to scope of work, project execution plans, drawings, specifications, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, detailed drawings, quality documentation, FAT/SIT test procedures, test records, minutes of meeting, change management registers, installation procedures and other project documentation.
Management of equipment supply vendors and contractors including monitoring progress, review and approval of vendor documentation, answering technical queries and resolving technical issues to ensure supply vendors performance is actively tracked, managed and deliveries comply with project requirements. Preparation of technical and project execution related reports and proposals for project team and client that are clear in intent, purpose and presentation What you'll need to succeed Engineering degree in a relevant field Solid subsea equipment and project related experience Knowledge of subsea intervention methods, subsea intervention equipment and subsea installation and ability to incorporate installation requirements into equipment design Knowledge of a range of subsea equipment including subsea completions, trees, manifolds, umbilicals, flowlines, control system components and subsea interfaces. Strength analyses, both in calculation and FEA; pressure integrity, bending, interface and clash checks Offshore experience with subsea intervention, repair and inspection What you'll get in return You'll have the opportunity to join an international Oil & Gas company that has an impressive presence in the industry, on a permanent basis.
