The Northern Country Team is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Home Care Support Worker to support the disability programs within Uniting SA.
Located at Whyalla, we require a competent professional who is experienced working within a human services team and enjoys working in a busy environment. Key responsibilities include: Deliver goal oriented services that enables consumers to remain safe and independent in the community Assist consumers to remain living in their own home empowering them to make good choices to achieve this outcome Observe and promptly report any changes in consumersâ€™ health and well-being To be successful in the role you will have: Current SA driverâ€™s license DCSI Clearance (Child & Disability) Experience working with people with Mental Health and/or other disabilities Strong belief in human rights and inclusion for all people OUR CULTURE AND BENEFITS: A career with UnitingSA will offer you rewarding experiences to make a difference to the lives of Australians in need.
