Join a brand focused on innovation, quality and service Develop national accounts using your existing networks within the timber industry Competitive salary, great team culture and career progression opportunities The Opportunity: Join Cabot’s as our National Business Development Manager based in Melbourne and use your strong relationship building skills and commercial acumen to support the development of our Industrial and Trade portfolio nationally. This is a varied and high impact role with a great deal of autonomy, however within your average week you can expect to: Lead a top down growth strategy by developing robust relationships with national clients and internal stakeholders Execute Cabot’s business strategies, creating demand and sales to meet sales targets and KPI’s Work together with the state sales teams to drive collaboration and proactively target the top customer targets nationally What you will bring and develop: Relationships play a big part in this role, so you’ll need to have strong influencing skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders to excel. With your calm and strategic approach, you’ll have an adaptable nature and will be able to delegate and coordinate activity for others.

Strong time management and excellent communication skills are also crucial to ensure success. You will be based in Melbourne, and your key skills and experience will include: Solid experience working within the timber industries within existing relationships with stakeholders in these sectors at a national level Proven experience securing and growing large accounts Strong motivation to develop new business opportunities, close deals and drive growth of existing accounts Our Place: Cabot’s has a strong market leading position in the Australian DIY market and has a growing business in Trade and Industrial timber coatings.
