Kubernetes Platform Engineer
Talenza is currently partnering with a a leading financial services organization that are quite literally at the forefront of the latest technology. As an early adopted of Kubernetes, they have a well established team of Platform Engineers that devote their time to a range of different projects focused around the container platform. The role Be apart of an exciting implementation of Kubernetes clusters on a new Google Cloud Platform environment.
Your focus will be on ensuring the Kubernetes platform is highly reliable, secure, scaleable and resilient. Implementing Istio as a platform and self-service developer tooling on top of it including failure injection, telemetry, alerting & dashboarding Implementing KNative as a platform Managing Kubernetes operationally, including responding to tickets, improving alerting and upgrades Design, build tools and platforms used by the dev teams About you This role is tailored for the all the Dev focused DevOps Engineers out there; a substantial part of the role will be getting hands on with Golang and cloud automation in general. It would suit a passionate technologist who enjoys everything latest tech; serverless, microservices architecture and application containers.
3 years experience using Golang 2 years experience with Kubernetes; from a design, build and management perspective rather than just a user Google Cloud Platform experience Strong knowledge of cloud automation and DevOps principals using a range of technologies; Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Python, BASH, Puppet Strong understanding of SRE principals AWS experience regarded; ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda if you're an experienced cloud enthusiast looking for a new and challenging opportunity in a high performing environment, please apply within or reach out directly to Alex Rawlinson | 0412 757 922 |.
