A new opportunity for one our closest clients based in the Gold Coast is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their organisation on a temporary full time basis. Our client is a construction organisation that needs an experienced candidate to peform a range of accounts responsibilities that require a strong eye for detail and efficiency. Client Details Our client is a privately owned construction company based in the Gold Coast and is experiencing rapid growth nationally.
Boasting a modern office space, our client is looking to add value in their accounts team that consists of already established quality. Our client is providing the opportunity to develop a senior candidate development opportunities. Description Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be required to: Review and process general journal data imported for Banking, petty cash & end to end payroll Applying vendor payments within the AP system and reconcile AP Ledger Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including Payroll, Prepayments & Accruals & GST Prepare monthly financial reports Prepare and lodge quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS) Liaise with clients to obtain financial information as required and resolve their questions relating to their reports.
Strong Processing skills Profile The successful candidate will have been exposed to very diverse accounts roles and more specifically Senior Bookkeeper positions in a highly paced environment. This person will have an ability to manage a very busy accounts role and have been exposed to roles that required authorising finance functions like payroll.
