Concierge and Events Administrator
An exciting opportunity to join a residential College affiliated with the University of Melbourne. The key focus of this newly established role as the first point of contact, includes concierge, administration and end to end event management. Client Details Our client provides a living and learning experience for 220 tertiary students from rural, interstate and international backgrounds.
We seek candidates who have a relevant tertiary qualification, and experience in events and front of house administration. Description Meeting and greeting all visitors to the College Managing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders Responding to concierge enquiries including student requests End to end event coordination utilising Mailchimp and Cvent platforms Preparing event quotes, presentations and developing resources Establishing, efficient automated processes including maintaining a schedule of events Profile Proficient with MS office suite, and digital event platforms Relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality, events or communications Demonstrated experience and success in similar role Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Excellent work ethic with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously An understanding of EEO, commitment to equity, cultural diversity, integrity and respect of others An understanding of and commitment to compliance of OH&S requirements Job Offer Excellent remuneration package, free car parking and lunch provided when the kitchen is open. Days of work: Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, with some out of hours work required.
