Business Performance Manager



Australia - Northern Territory, Alice Springs Job Summary AECOM has an outstanding opportunity for a Business Performance Manager supporting our program in Alice Springs, Australia. This position is a key member of our Oasis senior leadership staff. The selected candidate oversees the general operations of the Finance and AccountingDepartments.

The Business Performance Manager will set the overall direction of the Business Management Directorate by supporting efficient operational goals, planning operations, formulating the development of policies and planning resource needs in each of the function areas; responsible for program revenue recognition and project estimates at completion in accordance with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); receives, interprets, and provides guidance on Performance Work Statement, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) interpretation and implementation to the contract; interfaces with the client customer to include written correspondence and face to face interaction; maintains a professional staff with sufficient knowledge, skill, experience, and professional certifications to meet the objectives of the Business Management Directorate As well as perform special projects and other duties as required. Minimum Requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/poly security clearance. 8 or more years of experience with federal government contracts (will consider the advanced degree and/or exceptional accomplishments in lieu of experience).

10 - 13 years of Finance / Accounting experience. 3 - 5 years managing Finance / Accounting group or team on government project(s). Bachelor's Degree required.

Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Experience working in a professional services environment. Must be familiar with large Cost Plus contracts and possess demonstrated knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.

Must have previous experience in government proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and contract activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, independent, and analytical. Preferred Qualifications Active TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance is preferred. Previous experience with computing systems and related reporting applications (i.

e. CostPoint, Deltek, Cognos, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio) is preferred. Previous experience managing support functions such as contracts, purchasing, and human resources is preferred.

Professional certifications (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), MBA in Finance / Accounting is preferred. Previous OCONUS experience supporting a similar program is preferred. What We Offer When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
