This is particularly the case with this role, which will work across various business streams and partner with internal stakeholders.

About the Role/Duties This role is primarily responsible for managing and developing a medium sized Service Delivery/Applications Support team. The role will provide outstanding technology services that include incident and problem management, rapid project delivery and operational efficiencies. Further responsibilities of this role include: Validating change and rapid project requests and deliver quality solutions; Communicate to stakeholders about system outages and collaborate with the team for the restoration of services; Drive, support and measure the adoption of continuous delivery and DevOps maturity within the organisation; Manage conflicting priorities from business stakeholders and manage expectations appropriately; Collaborate with others in the IT team to improve technical delivery of services in line with the business strategy; and Measure and report on key performance metrics linked to the application portfolio and recommend performance enhancements and efficiencies.

Skills & Experience Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key experience/capabilities: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Service Delivery Team Leader or Service Delivery Manager role supporting business critical applications; Experience in the Microsoft stack of tools such as .NET, SQL Server, TFS and Visual Basic; Experience with tools for automation of deployment, monitoring and management of systems; Knowledge of Unix/Linux and Python is highly advantageous; Knowledge of ITIL best practice principles advantageous; Experience with agile development methodologies an advantage; You will possess a strong partnership and relationship focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills; You will take accountability for problems and show high levels of commitment for the job. You will be pragmatic and enjoying going above and beyond to deliver outstanding service; and Above all else, you will have a humble, kind, friendly and trustworthy personality, with an excellent attitude.
