Manager Contracts & Procurement About the opportunity: Isaac Regional Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced full time Manager Contracts & Procurement to join our Corporate, Governance & Financial Services (CGFS) Directorate for a five (5) year fixed term contract. Based in the Isaac Region and reporting to the Director CGFS, this will work as a strategic partner to drive the strategic development and strength of the procurement, contracts and supply chain (Procurement) function. The successful applicant will enjoy: A five (5) year fixed-term full-time contract; An attractive remuneration package, inclusive of accommodation and full private-use vehicle; 5 weeks annual leave 17.
5% loading; 12% super (in accordance with policy); About you: Ideally with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role in a corporate environment with a proven track record of managing a diverse range of functions. Previous management experience within local government would be highly regarded; Experience in managing a Procurement function ideally within a public sector context and preferably with Local Government experience; Experience in providing strategic leadership in strategy and policy development, establishing performance standards and monitoring and reporting on performance; Formal qualifications in the areas of procurement or a related discipline; Qualifications in Management and MCIPS would be highly regarded.
