Brothers Leagues Club Townsville is winner of 2019 North Queensland Club of the Year and has won this title 8 times. We are also home of the 2019 Best Chef, won by our Head Chef. We are a family friendly venue boasting a busy 200 seat a la carte restaurant and three function areas.
We cater for a diverse range of functions including corporate functions, weddings, family celebrations, sporting carnivals. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience every time, bringing our guests and members back time and time again. Job tasks and responsibilities Reporting to the Sous Chef & Head Chef, you will be responsible for: - Managing daily food preparation and production to ensure high standards are maintained and food safety guidelines are adhered to - Maintaining health and safety standards in the kitchen Ensuring that basic food cost and wage budgets are not exceeded.
Skills and experience To be considered for the role you will possess the following attributes; - Previous experience in a high volume a la carte venue - Thrive in a great team-orientated, professional kitchen environment - The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure - Exceptional time management and sense of urgency - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Passion for delivering outstanding customer service by consistently delivering quality food to Brothers Leagues Club standards in a prompt manner - Excellent personal presentation and hygiene standards The position will be part of our 4 days on 3 days off roster.
