Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Management or Human Resources Management Knowledge Knowledge of state employment related legislation that relates to grievances, Equal Employment legislation and conditions of employment. Knowledge of contemporary performance management practices and principles. Working knowledge of Performance Management Systems, Applications and Products is highly desirable.

Experience Experience in the delivery of people management advice and consultancy services including development and delivery of an effective performance management approach. Experience in successfully managing the delivery of staff recruitment, on-boarding and termination services.
Position responsibilities include: Contributing to the development, management, implementation and improvement of Human Resource policies, procedures, processes and systems to support the company's strategic objectives. Monitoring the effectiveness of Human Resource delivery to identify opportunities for improvement. Providing or obtain expert human resource support to the Chief Executive Officer, and Senior Management Team.
Provide coordination support for the recruitment of staff by the Senior management team. Coach and advise managers on processes for conducting and reviewing performance with staff, the use of performance excellence plans, and managing substandard performance. Provide independent advice and contribute to investigations into grievances and misconduct allegations.
Coordinate Visa processes for foreign staff and recruitment when required. Provide user support and training in Human Resource and performance excellence systems. Evaluate and implement a range of development offerings to enhance the capabilities of staff which are responsive to individual training needs and strategic direction.
Prepare and provide reports/briefs on performance excellence within for the Senior Management Team and the Board, and prepare statutory reports for central agencies..
