NURSE MANAGER | GRADE 4 (REGISTERED NURSE) Expiry date: 26th November 2019 Reference 18500 Five Star Aged Care Residence- Arcare Burnside Permanent Full Time Position Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00 Sensitive Care Unit (30 beds) Arcare Burnside has an exciting opportunity for a compassionate & experienced Nurse Manager to join the team As the successful candidate you will be leading a highly inspired team and overseeing 30 beds in our sensitive care unit. About the opportunity We are looking for a Nurse Manager who is flexible in their thinking and courageous in their actions. A person with compassion and empathy, who understand that attitudes are contagious (and who have one worth sharing).
Reporting directly to the Residence Manager, you will be leading a highly motivated team. You will oversee comprehensive care in accordance with the individual needs of the clients, implement and evaluate their care plans, maximise ACFI and ensure compliance to the Aged Care Legislation & Accreditation Standards. You will liaise with clients, families and medical professionals, and are encouraged to initiate and participate in innovative projects.
About yourself Proven experience at a senior nursing/management level Current AHPRA registration Have a genuine interest in and respect for the unique personality, history and values of our clients Possess a compassionate, caring and supportive nature Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent clinical documentation practice In depth understanding and experience with ACFI Be committed in ongoing clinical excellence Display a relationship centred approach to care and supervision Great understanding of care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation Demonstrated strong customer service ethos and commitment to quality and continuous improvement About Arcare: With our first aged care residence constructed in 1997, Arcare is the largest private residential aged care provider in Australia.
