About the opportunity Providing overall operational & clinical support across a medium sized residential aged care facility plus a homecare community service.

You will be responsible for the day to day management and the continued success and development across both services within the Far North region of QLD. Reporting to the Regional Manager your main responsibilities will include: ensuring the delivery of high quality person centred care, the maximisation of revenue and ensuring accreditation standards are met and maintained. You will be an experienced, self-motivated and proactive manager, who has a proven track record within an operational capacity including the achievement of financial budgets, implementation and continued development of standards and procedures and promoting productivity of your team members across the facility through your management style and knowledge of HR standards.

Duties Day to day operations & management of the service Provide leadership & clinical direction to care team Actively promote a culture of service delivery Ensure care assessments are conducted within set guidelines Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met Oversight of ACFI process Finance & HR management Skills and Experience AHPRA Registration within relevant health discipline Previous experience as a Facility Manager Budget, finance management experience Knowledge & achievement of accreditation standards. Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team Experience with staff education & development Demonstrable knowledge of ACFI Effective communication & interpersonal skills Culture Work within a collaborative environment where you can lead, develop & motivate a team ensuring that a high level of person centred care is delivered. Fully supported position with excellent, dedicated clinical teams within each facility.
