Digital Client Director
In the past 10 years of digital recruitment the one thing that I hear (without fail) from people wanting to leave agency roles is because they have too many clients and don't feel like they can deliver. This is an opportunity to work on just one client and manage their multi-million dollar digital media spend. As Digital Client Director you will be joining a fully integrated media agency and heading up their digital media team.
This team are creative and innovative and have their finger on the pulse with regards to the latest technology. Your role will be split between client and team management. The team in place are experienced digital professionals are are more than capable of working autonomously; they are passionate and looking to learn from your experience and hear new ideas.
You will provide guidance, and be responsible for work flow across Performance, Social, Video & Direct Publishers. You will be client facing and will spend time most days with your client and their team here in Sydney. The relationship is through the C-level media and marketing teams so you will be tasked with building relationships, challenging, influencing and working together to build a successful digital media strategy.
The Digital Client Director will be responsible for planning, and delivering strategy through all digital media channels. You will have budgetary management and ensure that this is correctly allocated. You will also provide innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert on the client's business, industry, competitors, key drivers, environment etc.
Who we're looking for: You will be working for a media agency, or in a digital media team now. You will have passion for media and mar-tech and be looking to bring that into a single-client environment. This is a technical account and technical client so we need someone who is able to understand complex technology and be able to translate that into clearly defined briefs and strategy.
