About Our Site Our Darwin team provide repair, maintenance and in-service support for the fleet of Armidale Class Patrol Boats. We have multiple locations across Darwin to accommodate our growing diverse team of 95 employees. Our project office is based in the CBD which is in walking distance to public transport, restaurants, schools and offsite parking.

About the opportunity Reporting to the ILS Manager and collaborating with Configuration Management, Engineering, Supply Support and the wider ILS team you will provide Obsolescence Management, Logistic Support Analysis and ILS deliverables for current in-service support contracts and other ad hoc work. What you will be doing In this role you will be responsible for providing quality ILS Engineering analysis and outputs including: Proactive management of obsolete items of supply, identifying substitute parts and supply chain data management in accordance with contracted requirements and the obsolescence management plan Participating in the development of the design of support system solutions to achieve stakeholder needs and expectations for optimal asset utilisation Continuous improvement and ongoing development of obsolescence management procedures, processes and work practices that enable inventory management and deliverables to the satisfaction of the contract About you The be successful in this role you will hold tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline or equivalent obsolescence management experience within a defence capability sustainment environment.
Formal qualification sin Logistics Engineering and or LSA preferred but not essential.
