Contracts Administrator Established Commercial Construction Company Award Winning Multifaceted Design and Construct Projects Business Critical Position based in Brisbane Our client is an industry leader within the commercial construction industry, delivering multifaceted projects across residential, commercial, healthcare and education within the public and private sector. Their projects range in value from $10 million to $80million dollars and they have a pipeline of work to see them significantly grow this financial year. Well established on the East Coast, our client prides themselves on integrity and honesty.
They promote a linear management structure and an open door policy. Due to continued growth along the East Coast, an opportunity exists to join their Contracts team. Role: Develop strong relationships with internal team members and provide solutions to any contractual issues that may arise.
Lead Negotiation of contractual terms and conditions with relevant stakeholders, supporting the project managers and leadership team. Take full ownership of the commercial and contractual aspects of this project. Provide an ongoing contribution to the project management and contracts team to ensure full commercial close out of stage of this project, together with revenue recovery management and support if required.
Develop contract controls frameworks and processes for subcontractor arrangements Be competent at contract review and assessment, able to draft commercial / contractual qualifications and correspondence. Conduct risk analysis and identify potential issues. Continue to foster the company culture and be an integral member of the future success of the business.
The Person : To be considered for this position, you will naturally have significant experience in contract administration roles within the design and construct building sector. You will have a positive attitude and have a win/win approach to negotiations. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to resolve disputes amicably and achieve business objectives in doing so.
Reporting to the Regional Team Leader, you will be supportive and innovative in your approach to implementing procedures and systems and develop strong internal and external relationships. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and exceptional communication and leadership skills. An attractive remuneration package and FIFO arrangements with benefits (5/2 roster)is on offer for the suitable candidate.
