We don’t just develop and manufacture premium fencing products and horticulture products we also provide fencing solutions. We have earned our reputation by developing quality innovative products to meet the needs of rural farming for over 135 years About the role Reporting into the National Sales Manager, this role is responsible for maximising the profit and volume of Waratah’s rural products covering South Australia with preferably a base in Adeliade. In this region, the key focus will be on horticulture and farming in more concentrated volumes.

You will also be; Leading and developing a team and building strong relationships across all key industry stakeholders within the South Australia region Identifying trends and developing appropriate sales strategies and business plans Leading a strong sales team and assisting with training and development of the Territory Sales Managers and mentoring Establishing targets and managing budgets for your team Responsible to maintain and consistently improve key customer relationships, regularly visiting customers with your Territory Managers Developing continuous improvement processes Maintaining ongoing awareness of the industry trends and competitor activity Analysing sales performance and provide monthly reports Promote advantages of the Waratah range, providing training and guidance around fencing options Ensure development of regional safety plans and roll out of any safety initiatives. About your experience Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian agricultural industry alongside proven sales and leadership experience An agricultural related qualification is desirable but not essential A passion for developing and leading people. We will be looking for a drive to succeed as this will ensure your success in the role Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills are necessary, as is the ability to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups You’ll be able to operate separate from the rest of the sales force and operate mostly in regional areas You’ll be a self-starter and demonstrate a willingness to travel and be away from home regularly.
