What does the role involve? The Sales Planning Manager develops, facilitates and implements the sales operating model for Business & Government to deliver the annual sales plan.
It works closely with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure buy-in to the sales plan and subsequent resourcing and forecast planning, and is responsible for sales governance to drive revenue performance and prioritisation of resources that support the sales plan and operating model. Support the Head of Sales & Service Planning to develop, facilitate and implement the GTM model (sales operating model) for Business & Government to deliver the annual sales plan. Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, such as marketing, finance, sales leaders, and sales operations to ensure appropriate business ownership and resourcing.
Input in to the design of the territory planning and target setting for each Sales and Service solutions with the intention to enhance Australia Post share of wallet Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Business & Government to accurately forecast contributions to understand likelihood of achieving target What experience will you have? Weâ€™re looking for candidates with extensive experience in a planning role within a commercial environment with significant experience negotiating with internal stakeholders and influencing cooperation in order to drive business outcomes. Sales Management and Sales Operations experience (desirable). Strong relationship management skills.
A clear understanding of business priorities. Experience delivering strategic business plans, operational execution plans, and sales strategies. Understand external market conditions and macro-economic influences on the sales environment.
Knowledge of commercial sales functions.
