We are seeking a postdoctroal researcher to join the laboratory of Dr. Ashraful Haque within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, at the Doherty Institute, University of Melbourne. The laboratoryâ€™s research program aims to improve understanding of CD4 T cell biology in vivo, across a range of infectious and non-infectious diseases models.
The laboratory employs both wet-lab and computational techniques, and is currently focussed on single-cell genomics and spatial transcriptomics. This position will employ wet-lab in vivo approaches to study CD4 T cells in vivo, with opportunities provided to develop expertise in single-cell genomics and computational biology. The successful candidate will be expected to design, undertake, and interpret experiments, as well as to promote innovation and creativity within the group.
