Senior Marketing Manager

About the Role This role is responsible for the creation and delivery of the marketing strategy for a specific portfolio.
Working with the broader marketing team and managing one direct report, the role will require management of brand and tactical campaigns, marketing collateral and digital marketing activities contributing to the delivery of measurable business objectives. Key accountabilities include: Demonstrate effective and consistent collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, including global in-market trade relationships; Create innovative and informed marketing strategies and associated tactical plans that are aligned with business objectives and overall brand strategies; Lead and drive campaign management, implementation, measurement and budget control activities for respective business units; Deliver marketing collateral and initiatives to deliver on key business objectives; Manage and co-ordinate effective working partnerships with external marketing agencies and associated suppliers to ensure delivery in line with agreed standards and timeframes; Day-to-day management and mentoring of Marketing Executives; Deliver regular financial, work in progress reports, reviews, reporting and recommendations for all activity managed; and Work cooperatively and proactively with the management team in order to achieve whole of business objectives. About U Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, advertising or communications; At least seven years' experience in generalist marketing and campaign management; Proven ability to develop and implement effective, integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that align with overall company strategy and objectives; Genuine knowledge of and passion for the Tourism industry and existing knowledge of the Greater Brisbane marketplace and business environment; People leadership experience, an empowering leadership style and experience in effectively managing teams during times of change; Outstanding project management skills and a strong delivery focus with the ability to be both strategic and operational; Ability to work with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation, with the confidence to educate, negotiate and advise where appropriate; Experience developing post project / campaign analysis and results reports; Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, work under pressure and manage multiple projects; and A true team collaborator.
