Job no: 583710 Work type: Full time - Continuing/Permanent Categories: Administration and Executive Support, Economics / Business, Education Full-time, permanent opportunity based at RMIT city campus Work across wide range of RMIT stakeholders, institutional partners and delivery team to manage and strengthen relationships and support teams to deliver high impact event programming and engagement activities across portfolio Leadership & relationship management opportunity with 2 direct reports Report to the Director, Strategic Planning Remuneration at HEW Level 9 ($113,878 - $122,015) 17% superannuation Position Summary Provide high level of service, organisational and continuous development support for the whole portfolio to ensure and enhance key business processes Support senior Executives and mentor & increase capability of the team and strengthen stakeholder relationships via wide range of creative and engaging activities Build and manage relationships with across teams and partner organisations of the Policy, Strategy & Impact Group (115 staff across 7 teams) and proactively support & connect with key stakeholders and portfolio across the University Facilitate, oversee and assist strategic coordination of business support processes and stakeholder management with the Director, Strategy Planning and the Office of the Vice Chancellor Your Responsibilities Oversee, promote and deliver effective relationships with major partner organisations across the Policy, Strategy and Impact Portfolio Create, curate, coordinate and conceptualise management of service agreements and all Policy & Impact contracts with external partners as well as supporting the delivery of milestones as required Deliver and pro-actively support the Executive members of the Policy & Impact Team to meet key priorities as well as producing impactful, creative documentation and event programming to support meetings and key stakeholder engagements Design and coordinate effective systems as well as assist the teams in delivering wide varieties of workshops, presentations and engagement activities across the portfolio Research, compose and design cost-effective approach in the management and coordination of events for the portfolio which consists of agenda planning, speaker requests, invitations, room bookings, catering and effective follow-up to meet key objectives Foster and strengthen relationships across all areas in RMIT as well as the ensure effective delivery of business support services aligning with the Office of the Vice Chancellor and working collaboratively with HR business partner, Property Services business partner, Finance business partner and ITS business partner Manage and finding new ways to improve the welcome and induction of new starters to the PSI portfolio together with other support teams Maintain and streamlined processes of office equipment, GET-IT requests, AV and other requirements as well management of purchasing, contracting and partnership agreements.
