The Company Robert Half is working with a well-known Insurance organisation who are conveniently located in Sydney CBD offices. Due to an upcoming project they are looking for a Business Analyst to join them in a critical claims and data analysis project. This is a 6-month contract that has the strong chance to be extended.
The Role Work closely with a team of Business Analysts and SME's on an income protection claims project, Examine the business needs in terms of present and future requirements, Create documentation and ensure they meet the requirements of the business, Assist with the creation of an internal calculation tool within Excel, Data analysis tasks around ensuring the efficiency of claims calculations, Investigating issues and offering the business solutions, Help manage expectations and communicate with stakeholders within and outside of the project, Write and develop SDLC documentation including BRD, FSD and Test documents, Supporting test planning when necessary, Ability to drive small initiatives forward when required. Your Profile Proven success working as a Business Analyst, Experience working within a Life Insurance project, ideally with a knowledge of claims, Strong data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills, Natural ability to solve problems and ability to thrive in a team environment, Excellent communication skills to easily convey ideas to the business, Strong documentation skills.
