We are seeking out both Senior and Lead Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our Quality and Safeguarding team who drive best practice and innovative thinking for our valued customers. The role will be based in our Sydney offices and may involve travel around Sydney to support our services and pratitioners.
Both Senior and Lead Behaviour Support Practitioners will need to demonstrate a high level of written and verbal communication skills in this role. What Northcott provides to our customers: Northcott provides person centred behaviour support through NDIS funding and we are also part of a capacity building team that supports Northcott to provide best practice support to enhance our customers quality of life across all our services. As a Northcott practitioner you will be involved in: Deliver capacity building Person Centred Behaviour Support to a range of customers including those with complex behaviour and high support needs Working across a variety of Northcott services including Accommodation, Respite, Lifeskills, Vocation skills and In home community supports.
What Northcott provides to their behaviour support practitioner: Northcott has a strong culture of support, mentoring and supervision for our behaviour support practitioners. When you work as part of our team you will be supported both clinically and operationally to provide high quality behaviour support. You will be part of a state-wide team that works together to build our individual practitioner skills as well as our teams skills.
You will be supported to build your skills so you can progress through the NDIS Behaviour Support Capability framework. About the Person: The successful Senior and Lead Behaviour Support Practitioners will be able to demonstrate the following: Core requirements: High level writing skills and experience writing for a range of audiences Experience working with customers, staff, teams and families utilising a Positive Behaviour Support approach. Experience working within a Person Centred approach and positive approaches to behaviour support.
